Surfers Western Australia

My first ever visit to Australia started off by flying to Perth to visit my cousin’s and her family. They took me to Yallingup Beach, Western Australia (check out tripadvisor) where the surf was amazing and I started asking passing surfers if I could take a quick portrait of them with their boards. See the pictures below.

Later I was over on the East Coast (check out lonely planet) staying with a best friend in Melbourne. We entered some beach volleyball tournaments on Vic Beach and I carried on taking some portraits and action shots. Check out the portraits I took over there – link.

I had such an amazing time out there. All the pictures I took with the new 21.1 megapixel Canon 5d mk2 and all in natural light, which there seemed to be an abundance of. I remember getting it covered in sand a few times and wondering if it was going to make it through the trip.
